Repairing the Jarocho Leon

        Repairing the damage required  disassembling the fretboard and top.  To prepare for removing the top, I first peeled off the mylar pickguard using a hairdryer.  Then, using a 1/16 inch silicone heat blanket, which belonged to my friend Steve Card (that's him), we heated the fretboard to soften the glue below.  It took about 15 minutes to release the glue bond. The pipecleaners held the blanket away from the areas not to be heated.
